Low Carbon Flat Ground Stock offers substantial cost reduction. Furnished in 24" lengths there are savings of up to 60% compared to tool steel ground flat stock.

 

Ideal for stripper plates, jigs, fixtures, machine and componet parts, templates and a wide variety of parts that don't require more expensive heat treated steels.

 

Low Carbon Flat Ground Stock can be carburized or case hardened. After hardening, its physical properties are substantially higher, especially tensile strength, Brinell hardness and yield point.
